ANTIOCH 6 RETREAT
St. Philip's Youth Ministry invites all high school youth to attend Antioch 6, a teen retreat run by youth group members, which will be held on Feb. 17-19, 2012. This weekend is about you, your friendships, your life...and how God fits into it. For more information and to download a registration form, click on the Antioch tab. Matt Maher Concert
St. Philip's Youth Ministry will be going to see Matt Maher in concert on Sunday, October 16 from 6pm-10pm in Wayne, NJ. Tickets are $20 for transportation and the concert. Matt Maher is a contemporary Christian music artist and songwriter who was written and produced five solo albums to date. He is best known for his song "Your Grace Is Enough". Spooks & Grounds Coffeehouse
All High School teens are invited to Spooks & Grounds Coffeehouse on Sunday, October 30th from 6-8pm in the school gym. Join us for a night of free coffee, desserts and more. Awesome prizes will be raffled off. Entertainment will be provided as well as an open mic for those who would like to perform, play, read a poem, etc. A Halloween costume contest will take place with prizes, so be sure to come in costume! Free admission if you wear a costume!
New Youth Ministry Office!
Stop by the new Youth Ministry Office within the newly redesigned Religious Education Office (now Parish Office) in the school's first hallway. Any mail may be dropped off in the slot or still at the Rectory. To call, you may use the telephone number 201-843-2240 and leave a message for Justin regarding Youth Ministry.

The Dead Theologians Society
St. Philip's Youth Ministry is proud to announce the debut of The Dead Theologian's Society (DTS) at our parish. This Society is a Catholic apostolate for high school age teens. Through the Saints of yesterday, DTS inspires the youth of today to become the saints of tomorrow. Its motto is "Dead to the World, Alive in Christ." Members will learn about the lives of the Saints using Catholic prayers, Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, and the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Our parish is currently the first and only active NJ chapter of the Society. All high schoolers are invited to attend. Meetings will be held monthly on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 2pm unless otherwise noted. Parishioners who would like to support the Dead Theologian's Society are asked to contact Youth Minister Justin Aughey at the Rectory.
